Custom my Courses Module

Use the Custom My Courses module to view only those courses you want to see at the Algonquin Tab in Blackboard.  Use the Courses Tab to view all your courses in alphabetical order.

1. Install Custom my courses
2. Set the Semesters you wish to view

Install Custom my courses

If you do not have a Custom My Courses box appearing on your Blackboard Homepage, click on the button that appears at the top right hand side of the page under the heading border.

This will bring you to the page:

Personalize Page Layout

On this page, select the Custom My Courses Module from inside the left hand window of Available Modules and click on the button under either the LEFT Panel or the RIGHT Panel. To complete this request, click on the button at the bottom of the page.

Set the Semesters You Wish to View

Back on the Blackboard Homepage, click on the button on the top right hand side of the Custom My Courses box.

This reveals the following page:



On this page, the current semester will be under the heading "Required Semesters". Under the heading "User Selectable Semesters" will be any past semesters or Unknown Semester. Select the semester(s) you wish to see or un-select the semester(s) you don't wish to see appear in the Custom My Courses box on your Blackboard Homepage.

Click on the button at the bottom of this page to return to your Blackboard Homepage.

Now on your Blackboard Homepage you should see exactly those courses you wish to access from your Custom My Courses box.
