Post Your Course Outline to Blackboard

Post your Course Outline to Blackboard -- Approach 1

You will want to post your Course Outline to the folder.

  1. In your Blackboard course, click on Control Panel and then on Course Information.
  2. Click on Add Item.
  3. At 1, give your Document a Title, such as "Course Outline".

     
  4. At 2, click browse to select the file you wish to post on your local machine and fill in a name for the link the students will click on to view the file.

     
  5. Click Submit at the bottom of the page.
  6. The Outline will look like this in Blackboard and will open Acrobat Reader 5.0 when the student clicks on the link:
  7. You're done!

Post your Course Outline to Blackboard -- Approach 2

You will want to provide a link in the  folder to a course outline posted elsewhere.

  1. In your Blackboard course, click on Control Panel and then on Course Information.
  2. Click on Add Item.
  3. At 1, give your Document a Title, such as "Course Outline".

     
  4. At 2, click browse to select the file you wish to post on your local machine and fill in a name for the link the students will click on to view the file.

     
  5. Click Submit at the bottom of the page.
  6. The link will look like this in Blackboard:
