Printing from Blackboard --
Don't Print all those blank pages!
To print from Blackboard without printing unnecessary blank pages, take the
following three steps:
- Use Internet Explorer to work with Blackboard.
- Recognize that Blackboard is a framed environment, in which there are
three pages combined into one.
Normally people want to print the Content Frame only, which is where the
teacher will have posted the course information.

- a. To print the content frame only, place your mouse pointer over the content
frame and right-click. Then choose Print from the menu that
appears.

This will print only the content frame.
b. A second approach is to drag over the material you wish to print to select
it, then right click to bring up the menu:

and then from the Print Dialogue that appears, select Print Range:
Selection:

- If you select Print from the File Menu, Internet Explorer
will print all the frames:
- the Top Frame
- the Button Bar, and
- the Content Frame (which is probably all that you want to print.)
