Remote mail checking
Use
http://www.mail2web.com to check your Algonquin email from any
computer – you don’t need a hotmail account!
Deal with SPAM
Use mailwasher (download from
http://www.mailwasher.net/)
This free program allows you to preview your email before downloading it and
delete or bounce any unsolicited email (Spam) that you don’t want. It also
allows you to find viruses before they get to your computer. Very handy if
you’re on a slow dialup connection and want to check but not download larger
emails.
It is useful to have
one password for all accounts at Algonquin.
To accomplish this, students should
select an appropriate password, then set

ACSIS Password |
Log in to ACSIS at
http://acsis.algonquincollege.com using student number and date for
birth (first time) and use Change Password to set the new
password. |

Networking to set a new network password.
Blackboard also uses the Windows networking password as the
Blackboard password. |

current network username and network password. Use Change Password
