  • R.I.D.E. - Resources in Distance Education (Centre for Computing and Information Systems, Athabasca University). This database contains post-secondary resources on the Web and does not deal with K-12 distance education sources.
  • A - Z Home's Cool Homeschooling, Distance Learning Programs (Ann Zeise). Well-respected website covering all aspects of homeschooling for children, with links to distance learning providers for K-12.
  • SNOW - Special Needs Opportunities Windows, Distance Learning (University of Toronto). The SNOW Project is a provider of online resources and professional development opportunities for educators and parents of students with special needs.
  • Elearnspace - Everything Elearning (George Siemens, Red River College). A series of resources available that developers, teachers, and managers of e-learning can use in completing their daily tasks.
  • E-Learninghub.com - Listing of more than 100 top resources (magazines and websites) from an Ottawa-based consulting firm.
  • Distance Education Clearinghouse - The Distance Education Clearinghouse is a comprehensive and widely recognized Web site bringing together distance education information from Wisconsin, national, and international sources. New information and resources are being added to the Distance Education Clearinghouse on a continual basis (University of Wisconsin-Extension).
  • International Center for Distance Learning - Provides  database of international providers, courses, literature, projects, discussion groups and news (Open University, UK).
  • Merlot (Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching). A free and open resource designed primarily for faculty and students in higher education, MERLOT allows faculty to enhance instruction with a continually growing collection of online learning materials, assignments and reviews.
  • American Distance Education Consortium - ADEC is an international consortium of educational institutions and organizations providing economical distance education programs and services via the latest and most appropriate information technologies. Learning resources, courseware tools, standards, trends and much more are provided.
