WRITING/GRAMMAR FOR WRITING (ESL 5950)

In this course, you will be required to keep a portfolio which will contain a variety of writing assignments. The contents of the portfolio and the value of each assignment is as follows:

A selection of essays                                 Weeks 3 - 5     (45%)        

A minimum of one (1) timed in-class writing assignment     

                                                               as scheduled       (10%)

A summary of an article                            Weeks 7-8         (10%)

A minimum of 2 quizzes on sentence structure                                                                           (25%)

One additional writing assignment                                        (10%)
