In this course, you will be required to keep a writing portfolio which will contain a variety of writing assignments. The contents of the portfolio and the value of each assignment is as follows:

* a summary                                               week 2               10%

* an integrated summary                             week 4               15%

* a timed essay                                           week 4               15%

* an analysis response essay                         week 6               20%
