Teacher re-writes the poem:

UNANSWERED QUESTIONS

    Out in space
    Beyond the sight of Man
They patiently wait to be kissed.

    They wait
    Slow burning H-Bombs dot heaven

    Light becons of tourists
    who move silently from
    place to place

    Bright gods burn bright

I watch you as I walk out in the cold
your colors keep me company as the miles go on

We watch you and make laws about you
    then
    (seemingly out of spite)
you break our law and show us more
    of infinite solitude

You are things that make our planet grow

    You are important

Then why do we give you insignificant names like stars?
