RECOMMENDED CALCULATORS For Electronics 2 and Electronics 3 courses, your calculator should handle functions of complex variables. For the Linear Circuits course, your calculator should handle functions of complex variables and polynomial roots (up to 8th order). TI-85 and TI-86 are OK as most of HP scientific calculators. The TI-83+ handles functions of complex variables and can be programmed to compute polynomial roots - you can download the program for free from the TI website.
NOTE: you must use the TI graph link software to install the program from your computer to your TI-83+ calculator. |
