checkmrk.jpg (1054 bytes) Hi Jean,
I am not sure if you will remember me, I know you have had many students over the years. My name is Christine Preston (at one point known as Christine Stasiuk). I was researching on the net for some activities for my social skills group and came across your web site. It seems like just yesterday I was in school. I graduated in 1992!

Since leaving Ottawa I have worked for Peel CAS, Thistletown Regional Centre both in the day program and in  the residence; I worked at the Clarke Institute and most recently have taken  a position with the Peel Dufferin Catholic Board in a classroom setting.

Please pass on my regards to Brian Law and Donna Serafini. The three of  you shaped the child and youth work professional I am today. I reflect on my experience as a student at Algonquin with enormous gratitude. I wish you the best,
Sincerely,
Christine Preston

checkmrk.jpg (1054 bytes) I am happily working part-time in educational and behavioural management here in Florida. I have been given a wonderful opportunity working one on one as a facilitator (primarily tutoring) and have now been promoted to doing the assessments, educational testing and goals/objectives for our clients. I honestly believe it was my case study that got me promoted. First year C & YW has by far proved the most relevant in terms of relating to my career.

Thanks so much
Tricia Mattson, C.Y.W.
