Welcome to the Social Service Worker Page at Algonquin College (Woodroffe Campus) in Nepean, Ontario, Canada, a suburb of Ottawa.  Algonquin offers 4 Social Service Worker Programs at the College:  a 2 year Diploma Program, an Intensive Diploma Program for people with a university degree or specific college diploma or extensive experience, a part-time evening program and a 2 year Diploma program at our Pembroke campus, located 1 and 1/2 hours west of Ottawa.

Our programs combine theory with practice as students do field placements in the Ottawa-Carleton region.

Ottawa is the capital of Canada (see our Parliament Buildings) and the social service field here offers diverse learning opportunities.
