COMMA SPLICES & RUN-ON SENTENCES
Understanding (and avoiding!) comma splices or run-on sentences is dead easy (if you can distinguish main clauses, subordinate clause and phrases, that is). The first thing to note is this:
| Comma splices and run-on sentences and are bad! They are considered major grammatical errors!
