
Module 2, Understanding Culture in the Global Market, examines the culture and cultural diversity, and investigates the business implications of culture in the global market place. In this 15-hour module, students will use on-line and other resource materials to study cultural theory and apply it to a country of their own choosing. The students also examine general information about the country, including its history, geography, politics, religion, and language, etc.; business information, including business etiquette and protocol; and sociological information, including gender politics, verbal and non-verbal communication, and demographics. The module requires the student to successfully complete an analytical project.
Students have the opportunity to explore the culture within the context of business.
The completion time for the module is six weeks.

Progress Email Memorandum Report
Analytical Assignment research and produce a comprehensive report explaining and applying the theories of culture studied in the module. The report will require the student the organize information from a variety of sources, report using visual, numerical, and narrative data, and write at the college level.
